It all begins with a place we love in our hearts. When clients inquire about the inspiration that feeds my artwork, I invariably point back to the Dordogne Valley in the South West of France.

This novella, a tale of mischief and legacy, will give you a strong and fragrant sense of the region that runs through my veins. It feeds my daily musings, inspiration and thoughts like the network of paths that map out this exceptional landscape and geology.

Writing this novel has been my journey in connecting the dots between my homeland, my art, and the contemplation I revel in in just about all aspects of my life. It’s all about the pause!
